METZELER mousse has been developed to replace the inner tubes in off-road tyres. “Solid” rubber inner tubes for off-road competition for use in METZELER tyres. When fitted, a METZELERmousse of the corresponding size, provides an equivalent inflation pressure to 0.7bar +/-0.1. This means that particular attention has to be given to the tuning of the suspension system. METZELER mousse are marked NHS meaning they must not be used on public roads. When fitting a mousse, the mounting lubricant gel must be spread
completely inside the tyre, avoiding the beads.
METZELER mousse which are available are 18”, 19” and 21”, plus the associated lubricant fitting gel.
